So Many Times

All I wanted is in my mind
Yesterday was all but mine
What I thought to be true
Well it just seems to leave me blue

I tried to reach out too far
To rid this pain from my heart
Just like a castaways lost at sea
I couldn’t see you You couldn’t see me

All these stories in my head
Just never end up like they said
Keep me lying awake in bed
So many times

I held my hand out and lost a friend
Too many seem like too many ends
Tomorrow might bring a better day
But who‘s to know and who’s to say

And it all comes back to me
That same old story another time
And It’s always the same old scene
I’m running blind
